Peel back wax and remove all Mini BabyBel® Cheese rounds. Throw away wrappers.
Sift flour (so it adheres to cheese without being clumpy) and place into a bowl. Set aside.
Crack egg into a second bowl. Check for shell pieces then whisk until well blended. Set aside.
Place Italian bread crumbles into a 3rd bowl. Set aside.
Now dip one Mini BabyBel® Cheese round into the flour, making sure to cover it 100%. Then dip that same Mini BabyBel® Cheese round into the egg wash. Finally, dip the same Mini BabyBel® Cheese round into the Italian bread crumbs and set aside. Repeat with remaining Mini BabyBel® Cheese rounds.
In a cast iron skillet, heat vegetable oil until approximately 350°. If you do not have a thermometer, you will know that it is hot enough when you drop a bread crumb in and it starts to boil it over.
Carefully (with tongs) place 4-5 of your cheese rounds into the oil The oil will be very hot and pop. Turn over as soon as you see the sides start to brown. This should be no longer than 20 seconds total. Remove the Mini BabyBel® Fried Cheese rounds and place on a paper towel to dry.
Serve hot with Marinara sauce and Enjoy your Mini BabyBel® Fried Cheese round
