Stitch Fix Clothing Subscription box Review January 2018 - Fashionable Clothing sent to your doorstep!

Being a mom of four children, three with autism, I do not even pretend that I have a chance to go shopping for myself. Even if I ever were to get out without any kids (hahahaha!), I lack any form of style! So when I first found out about the Stitch Fix Subscription box service, I was instantly sold on the idea!

Stitch Fix  is a monthly clothing and styling subscription service. When you sign up you take a pretty in-depth survey about your sizes, your style, and pricing preference. After you choose how often you want your subscription to come, your stylist will handpick 5 items based on your preferences.

The fee for this service is $20, and that includes free shipping and free returns. And if you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $20 fee from the total. (If you keep all five items, you also get a 25% discount!)

(Note: The items I receive are reflective of my style profile as well as price preferences. Your Stitch Fix may be completely different based off yours.)

This is my invoice sheet. It lists the prices per item and the discount I’d receive by keeping all 5 items. With the 25% discount and my $20 styling fee factored in, this box would cost me a total of $214.75 to keep everything – a total discount of $98.25

Your Stitch Fix comes with instructions on how to complete your check out online. In that process, you leave your feedback on the items you received. This helps your stylist learn more of what you like and dislike.

Then you just pack up the items you don’t want and send them back. Since it is a priority mailer, you can just schedule online through usps.com for free carrier pick up! This is perfect for us!

Stitch Fix Clothing Subscription box Review January 2018

I love fall, so I had a feeling I was going to fall in love with the items sent this month! So with Stitch Fix Clothing Subscription Box #7!

Pink Clover Tailynn Graphic Cardigan, Size XS $50

I absolutely loved this Tailynn Graphic Cardigan by Pink Clover. The pattern was so perfect for my style and it was so thick and warm! I did not buy this one, simply because it has no pockets. Had it had pockets, it would be in my closet now.

(From Fix #5) – Toms Classic Marl Knit Slip-On Flats, Size 6 -$55 (Light Grey)

This one was a special request I had, and my stylist delivered perfectly! These Toms Classic Mark Knit Slip-On Flats in Light Grey are perfect for most any fall outfit! I like that Toms come in so many colors and patterns. I love that every purchase of Toms will give a pair of new shows to a child in need! Here is a link directly to some awesome Toms this season!

Mauvette Cold Shoulder Knit Top, Size XS – $34

This is by far one of my favorite tops from stitch fix. I had been wanting to try a cold shoulder look, so when I received this one I was more than thrilled! This cold shoulder knit top by Mauvette is cute by it’s self, and great for layering. As you may have guessed, I definitely purchased this top!

Tinsel Claudi Cuffed Skinny Jeans, Size 0 – $48

These olive green color cuffed skinny jeans by Tinsel were absolutely adorable. The color was perfect for me. They did fit a little funny, with their being a little to much room in the crotch. Had they fit, I would have probably purchased the entire box!

Bancroft Tristana Hexagon Earrings -&28

These earring are so cute! I am not one to splurge on jewelry, but I fell in love with these hexagon earrings by Bancroft are perfect for so many outfits. I will be wearing these a ton, especially with my new cold shoulder knot top!

Absolutely Webster Lace up Top, Size XS – $48

In concept, this was a very cute shirt. Cream colors work well with my complextion and I love 3/4 sleeves. When I tried on this Webster lace up top by Absolutely, it just didn’t flatter me well. A size up probably would have worked for me, but I wasn’t sold on the long lace up or the price.

Unboxing Stitch Fix Clothing Subscription Box Review

January 2018

This month’s box really did capture my style. I loved the colors and patterns of everything my stylist picked out for me. Not every piece was a win this month, but that is perfectly okay. I’d be in trouble if everything fit perfectly each month! You can check out my impressions of each piece in the video below!

What do you think?

This Stitch Fix  box was great.  I love that Tiffany has learned my style so well. At the end of the day, the $20 monthly styling fee (which also includes free shipping and returns) is a low-risk way of shopping for clothes in the comfort of your home. As long as you keep just one item, you get that off your purchase.

As one of my awesome readers, you get your $20 styling fee completely waived for your first fix! Just use any link in this post and it will instantly apply this discount to your cart!

I love my Stitch Fix box this month! If you did too, check out what we got in our Stitch Fix Subscription box last month!
