Mom’s have one of the most fulfilling jobs in the world! Too often, we lose sight of what is most important and focus on what we feel are failures. So to change that narrative, we will be featuring an Amazing Mom every Monday to inspire us all to make a change!
The Mom Kind is proud to partner with the #WeLoveMoms movement to celebrate these amazing parent role models! These moms are making a difference in their communities and offer some real world inspiration.

Through the inspiration of the Amazing Moms: Parents of the 21st century coffee table book (Mother’s Day 2018), we are so happy to feature these beautiful women who demonstrate motherhood in unique ways!
Without further ado, let’s check out this week’s featured Amazing Mom!
Tonya is an amazing mom to four children. She is a child advocate and staunch supporter of children’s’ rights. She co-authored the F.I.T. Kids Manual utilized by the Pittsburg School District (California), established several unique youth wellness programs and served on the Youth Council for Contra Costa County Supervisor Federal Glover.
She has also facilitated events for Contra Costa County’s Mary Piepho, moderated political discussions for Past Oakley, CA Mayor, Brad Nix. She is a graduate of California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.

Having four children, it’s hard to choose just one! My biggest moment for myself though was giving birth to twins, two hours apart! – Tonya Mckenzie

She is one of the head creators behind the #WeLoeveMoms campaign and is also featured in the “Amazing Moms” coffee table book by Hogan Hilling & Dr. Elise Ho. She shares her expertise along with her experience in parenting children, both with and without autism.
