6 Fun Things to Do with Your Daughter

There are a lot of fun things you can do with your daughter, such as baking, creating works of art, heading to the bookstore, and having a relaxing spa day. No matter what you choose to do, she’s probably going to love it.

That doesn’t make picking something any less of a challenge, though. Keep reading to learn more.

1. Bookstore

You can inspire learning in your daughter and have fun at the same time by taking her to the bookstore. Most bookstores have little cafes located inside. Grab a few hot chocolates and head over to a quiet section of the store to read together.

If she finds a few books that she enjoys, go ahead and let her buy them and grab a couple for yourself while you’re at it. You deserve them.

2. Craft Store

Nothing brings a mother and daughter together quite like making something. Head over to the nearest art store and pick up glass beads to make jewelry or grab some paints and paper and go wild. The only limit you have is your creativity.

3. Spa Day

Everyone holds in stress. Even a six-year-old. Calm both of your stress levels by planning a relaxing spa day at home.

Apply facials (complete with cucumber slices of course) and do each other’s nails while listening to calming ocean music. That sounds like paradise to us anyway.

4. Bake

Baking sweets is about as fun as eating them. Go online and find a few tasty recipes and spend the day with your daughter in the kitchen.

Let her be your little helper, and don’t forget to reward her by letting her lick the bowl. You can’t have a baking session without that.

5. Board Games

Remember when you had sleepovers as a kid? You and your friends would hop into your jammies, order a pizza, and break out the board games.

You can recreate these exciting sleepovers of yore with your daughter. Get out the classics like Monopoly and Clue and prepare for a night of pizza and laughs.

6. Play Ball

Little boys aren’t the only ones who enjoy a fun game of catch. Sports can be for everyone!

Ask her what her favorite ball game is, gather your gear, and take her out to a park to play. If she enjoys sports, consider the possibility of picking up tickets to a game as well.
